	PLENARY SESSION COOPERATION BETWEEN DATA PROTECTION AUTHORITIES AT NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL This session is devoted to the issues which emerged during cooperation between national data protection authorities, and cooperation between agencies in the territory of one country. The challenges of globalisation require also international cooperation on regional and world forum. As the protection of privacy is often interrelated with the need to protect other rights of the individual, cooperation between sectoral agencies for the protection of the individual's rights and regulatory bodies becomes essential. Does this kind of cooperation influence the standardisation of the activities of the agencies participating in it and the daily practice of their functioning? Do different forms of cooperation work? Which problems make cooperation difficult?
